Vonlec was engaged to deliver the full electrical and communications scope for the refurbishment of the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) Office at Dutton Park Police Station. The project required meticulous attention to detail, compliance with stringent government regulations, and seamless integration with operational facilities to avoid disruption to critical services.

Design and installation of upgraded power infrastructure, including distribution boards and dedicated circuits to support critical office equipment.
The package also incorporated soft wiring solutions for workstations, enabling flexible desk configurations, efficient cable management, and ease of future reconfiguration while maintaining compliance with safety and ergonomic standards.

Vonlec delivered a comprehensive structured cabling solution, deploying a CommScope CAT6A system engineered to provide superior data transmission speeds, enhanced network reliability, and scalable capacity for future technological requirements.

The installation incorporated high-performance cabling pathways, precision termination practices, and thorough compliance testing to meet stringent industry and government standards. Integration was seamlessly executed with the existing network infrastructure, ensuring consistent performance, minimal operational disruption, and optimised system uptime throughout the transition.

Vonlec implemented a state-of-the-art lighting system designed to meet both operational and environmental objectives. The solution utilised high-efficiency LED fixtures, optimised for low energy consumption, long service life, and reduced maintenance requirements.

The lighting design was tailored to deliver uniform illumination across work areas, improving visual comfort, reducing glare, and enhancing staff productivity. Advanced control systems, including dimming capabilities and zoning functionality, were incorporated to further optimise energy usage and provide flexibility for different operational needs.

Vonlec delivered a fully compliant emergency and exit lighting system designed to ensure occupant safety during critical situations. The system incorporates energy-efficient LED fittings with long-life performance to minimise maintenance requirements and operational costs.

Strategically positioned fixtures provide clear and consistent illumination of egress paths, exit points, and critical safety areas in accordance with AS/NZS 2293 standards. Testing and commissioning were carried out to verify operational reliability, battery backup integrity, and compliance with statutory requirements.
